A. She wouldn't be required to bring back Mint. She can make an entirely new identity like Nina and Mysta did when joining. It's a chance to try something new because you may not be into a concept the same way you were 4 years ago.
and B. While Pomu she obviously got insanely attached to a specific game series. It's entirely plausible she'd want to go for something more in line with her more recent obsessions and interests when the opportunity for a complete redesign springs up.
Nobody fucking knows but Pomu obviously, but I'd say it's entirely possible Mint stays gone and she returns as someone else.
