>>79402834Dex has its specific niches but it's less universally powerful. With str you usually get to slap something twice and it dies while getting staggered. With dex you have to put in twice as many hits while the enemy is attacking you but you get slightly more openings. On paper dex weapons also have better multipliers for shit like interrupts, parries or backstabs, but depending on the game you usually still have a str weapon that's way better in all of those. The actual selling point of dex is that it has some mostly unique weapon classes like katanas and rapiers, but usually the best rapier is a str weapon anyways.
