You see indies or smaller corpos celebrating small milestones, 10k subs, 20, 50, you get that much before you even debut in Hololive.
The only person I've seen adress this was Botan, she felt she hadn't earned the 100k subs pre-debut.
Even the most underperforming hologirl or shit even star is doing just fine and can live a little easier with little effort.
