Fake It Til You Make It Edition

It took some time but all the excitement from AX is finally beginning to die down and things look like they will be returning to something resembling normalcy. Just in time for Kson's re-debut as a member of VShojo, the debut of the new member Amemiya Nazuna who's definitely someone new and not someone we all know, and perhaps most importantly of all... a comfy group collab before either of those. Something that this group has been sorely missing throughout 2022 given how much of a non-event basically every birthday this year has turned out to be. But that's not all, as we also know that Mel plans on celebrating her birthday either the same day or the day before, and is timing it with the reveal of a brand new 3D model!
Speaking of, boy was there just a mountain of info dumped on us by Mel last night, and none of it was shown so we only have text to go on! It started with Mel casually mentioning a number of upgrades to the 3D model, hinting that code has been un-spaghettified on the backend and the end result is that she will look noticeably different when that happens. How different? Nobody knows until it happens! But another very interesting Mel teased last night was some aspects of her upcoming racing outfit that we didn't know about. After the fantastic discussion between Mel and Mouse on Lewdcast ended she brought Merry on board for a bit, and they showed what was definitely a screenshot from an upcoming video that will be accompanying the new look. That just raises the question of why a simple new outfit would be getting that treatment. Will it be a short comic? Or will it be a full-on new lore video, considering that Mel still hasn't had one yet. All we really had to go on was hints but it won't be long before we find out more as it should be debuting soon. Not Kson and Nazuna soon, but soon. Also casually mentioned and likely to be coming either this Friday or with the new outfit debut: a plush! A very small preview of the product was shown to supporters a few days ago, but we have Mel and Mouse's assurances that it is very cute
they're not wrongFinally, speaking of other big advancements in 3D models, we're all still awaiting the update to Zen's 3D model. Specifics aren't set quite yet, but Zen's mentioned it should be within a week or so, and it looks like it's going to be a fantastic new model. As great as Zen's 2D model is, she always thrives in 3D so it'll be great to see that return in the new design. Lots to look forward to in the near future, so look forward to it all! And in the meantime, make sure to keep things comfy and civil by ignoring and especially reporting bait, and being excellent to each other.
