>>8448180The goal of the game is to kill the enemy's "nexus" which is a structure on the top right/bottom left of the map. The map has towers spread across 3 lanes and you need to kill 3 towers in a lane and the inhibitor to let you attack the nexus.
Players typically queue for roles and each role typically goes to specific lanes and has a specific playstyle within the game. As far as mobas go League is probably one of the most rigid in terms of what each role is able to do so it's pretty easy to grasp for new players/spectators.
Also due to the nature of the roles having fairly specific playstyles it's easy for players to rage and blame eachother for not playing their role properly and this causes it to be one of the most toxic games ever, even moreso than more open-ended mobas like Dota where players expect nothing from their teammates.
It's a kusoge, play dota instead.
