Because all GFE vtubers have boyfriends and laugh at their ATM cucks behind their backs. They don't allow themselves to form any kind of emotional bond with their fans because that would allow them to feel bad about it. They think of their fans as parasocial losers that 'deserve' it. They know what they're doing is exploitative and wrong, so it's easier to just play the part for a couple of hours then switch off entirely when the stream ends.
