Otsonny!! Once more he's limited only by the yt VOD bug, kowai... Zelda is a dangerous drug kids, play responsibly. I had fun watching sonny go back to botw today though! Sound like a broken record when I say he fucked around a lot, guess it's not called a "gameplay loop" for nothing... the "FUCK BOWS" challenge continues and is starting to sound like a mantra, and the lengths he goes to to avoid using this tool grow greater with each installment. Also, the new pro controller finally came, no more drift and no more joycons! Last time we left off in korok forest, and while he still can't yet wield the master sword there are a few things to do around here, such as climb trees, and uh... converse with small vegetable men who talk like mentally challenged children. ...We'll be back another time! Really there was a small laundry list of things to get done before we went back to the desert, from upgrading runes, to buying some new stealthy drip, to discovering the wondrous deal that is 10 luminous stone for a diamond— before long though, it was time to resume the main quest, which meant infiltrating the yiga hideout to reclaim the thunder helm. This was quite the section, I seriously have no clue if he loves or hates stealth anymore. You know, you get these bananas because the yiga love bananas and you can distract them, but he refused to even acknowledge those as a tool until about 30min in after repeatedly sounding the alarm and getting raped to death. For all the freedom the game, has this area wants you to be sneaky and it will NOT take no for an answer; it was kind of incredible watching him get immensely frustrated when his cover got blown for the 10th time and then he'd basically insist he was having the time of his life.... I'll take his word for it. He was pretty stoked to finally get his hands on a katana though, that was nice. At last, disciplined into taking things slow and mastering the art of the sneak strike, he made it through and was able to take on the yiga leader, master kohga. I somehow totally forgot about this fight, funny little guy... but it was honestly a cake walk compared to what we just endured previously and soon it was back to gerudo town with the thunder helm in tow. Vah Naboris is... Not my favorite beast, the dungeon isn't anything amazingly interesting and by now I've seen more than enough of that stone texture that all beasts share, though as always watching the gears in sonny's brain turn (and sometimes get jammed) as he proceeded through the dungeon and activated the terminals was pretty good. I've heard totk brings back actual temples, so I think that'll be a nice change of pace after all this tan. What I DID enjoy was when his autism kicked into high gear and he decided he'd create a circuit out of his weapons and chests instead of using two metal balls to conduct electricity and open the door to the last terminal as god and nintendo intended. Really great when he dropped all of his shit on the floor at once and had to reload after all his bows despawned, quality entertainment like this is hard to come by these days. Thunderblight ganon was a bit challenging with his self-imposed restrictions in mind, especially on the second phase, but nothing he couldn't handle. Congrats on subduing the camel and getting urbosa's fury, and doing it in the pretty-but-unprotected vai set, no less! I'm sure it won't be long before he disables his newfound power. After a shrine quest that made him feel extra smart, he paused for a quick dinner break so he could throw together a mini sushi station with his leftovers (and blowtorch the fish right at his desk, god I love this retard more than I can put into words), but after that we still had another four hours of fuckery in store. No rito today, just some side content, plenty of cooking, adding more creature photos to his compendium, doing shrines, and riding bears, as you do. He encountered his first major test of strength that surprisingly didn't trouble him as much as I thought it would, guess being half decent at parrying helps a lot. Skill issue, as they say. While he didn't meet the rito he did venture into the mountains, and I cannot fucking believe he's even calling clothes "cheap" now and was sticking to a torch and elixirs for warmth. Incredible stuff. I think he'll really enjoy the DLC that dumps him on an island without any of his shit, I look forward to it. Thanks for another fun stream sonny, sometimes I wonder if you're intentionally testing what degree of autism your viewers will put up with, or maybe you'd do the same thing and more offstream... personally I'll eat that shit up every time, maybe that lack of regard for "content" is what truly makes the BBE (big brother experience). Can't wait for more Zelda shenanigans! Sleep well and see you later for the collab! o7
