>>4089470I think what we're seeing here is an extreme clash of personalities that both groups arent used to. Coco is a very loud and out going streamer and pretty much goes a mile a minute. Calli is supposed to be this super awkward shy doofus who is much slower than others. Now that isnt to say that this collab was doomed from the start, but its VERY obvious Calli showed how the sausage was made a bit by basically getting mogged in both her understanding of JP bros culture and that her type of personality isnt 100% a character she plays, she is just a legit awkward doof which to some may be great...in her solo streams. When paired up with someone like Coco, especially in the memereviews you need to be able to at least keep up with Cocos shenanigans. Calli just came off as a wet blanket who was anything but receptive. People shit on Ame all day because of the same thing, but at least Ame TRIES, she fails but she tries. Calli at this point feels like now that her character is basically "lol Im just awkward and a wet blanket" that its ok to not try. Of course some will try to cry about that I need to watch her solo streams (I was subbed to her until just last month) but I think its pretty easy to see that what you see is what you get. And hey in a bubble she can work really well by herself, but in collabs? Shes always been this shit. And yes that includes the Korone collab, nut up you know its true.
