>>35847921Nice! I fucking love glaciers! How mountainous is /vnug/? Even if the continental glaciers have receded, there could still be alpine glaciers in the mountains. Also, the south of /vnug/ is polar enough to have some continental glaciers still. Continental glaciers are incredibly cool, if you get on top of them it's literally like walking on another planet. On the large ones, it's literally pure white on every side for kilometers, all the way to the horizon. Fun fact, if the sun is out and shining, you can get a sunburn in the inside of your nostrils from the light reflected by the ice!
Also, morraines are amazing! Glaciers can leave truly weird constructs behind, as you say in the entry, I can see why natives would think there was a man-made element to them. I found a thing that was basically a perfect cone, three stories tall once!
Did you know that continental glaciers can have rivers and lake on top of them? They look incredible. Some lakes can have bits of glacier ice that look just like icebergs, I've seen glacier lakes that had icebergs big enough to sink the Titanic in them!
