It's sad to think that if Jamil had explained his situation to Kalim while they were young, Kalim probably would have fought against the social norm and hyped up Jamil more than he already does. Instead, we have a boy who's grown to associate the careless joy of his only "friend" with the shackles that their parents bound to him. I hope you're right about Jamil having some love for Kalim somewhere deep in his heart. I hope they can smile together one day.
On a lighter note, PLEASE take me back I want to relive the other three books for the first time!! Like, going to the museum with Azul at the end was SO fucking cute and so was little Riddle and Leona was just hot like DAMN!!
