I tried it out a bit and other than the interface requiring some getting used to, it seems to be fairly good to prototype a silly card game and play it over the internet.
The downsides that might be game breakers are the lack of an in-game chat and that cards and other props must be moved around manually like a real physical card game. It might sound "realistic" and "cool" but it becomes hard to explain why something happens if you cannot communicate and there are no automatic visual changes.
Still, it looks cool as a tool, maybe it could be used in one way or another.
