Nijisanji essentially was able to control the narrative, changing it from "Zaion vs. Nijisanji" into "Zaion vs. Genmates who she disappointed" and essentially free themselves from public criticism despite that the "actual reason" of the termination being Zaion contacting a manager that she wasn't supposed to and other instances where she defied the hierarchy.
But at this point, their strategy is crumbling, and the list of their sins being exposed are too long.
