There is something bitter and woeful about the whole Yuko situation. I wonder what could possibly have happened in December that led her to squander the best opportunity she'll ever have, throw away a million chances to alter course, burn all of the good will she's ever earned, and ultimately return to the exact same thing she's already doing but with a fraction of the popularity and stability? I just can't understand it from any rational perspective. I've never seen someone self-destruct with such apparent commitment and purpose.
