I see community projects as an escape from all this negativity and a way to show that /asp/ is more than just an unproductive thread 90% of the time. we have incredible talents and viewers in this community who do everything they can to keep the mood up and help others even with everything conspiring against them, and to give up on all that would be foolish.
I've been in this thread long enough to know that we'll never get back to the idea that /aud/ left, but I think we have enough to at least try to get something fun out of it.
drama is inevitable and this is not a problem exclusive to /asp/, the best we can do is teach new people to ignore it and focus on something productive.
