>>63398867The body will always prefer glucose but fructose isn't that bad, and it's what you'll find primarily in a lot of fruits. The only reason fructose is the "bad one" is because it ironically doesn't spike blood sugar that much due to needing to go to the l*ver. No spike in blood sugar = lower satiety due to not feeling full fast enough compared to eating an equivalent amount of calories of glucose, which leads to possible overeating causing complications.
In moderation both are fine and fruits have tons of additional fiber and vitamins so they're good to have.
