He probably didn't think False to actually go to Twisty and say "Hey someone sent me this leaked conversation and told me he wanted to expose you, do you know about any of this?"
His grooming attempt just failed horribly and not only did he publicly out himself, but now his target hates him and is at risk of being terminated from the company. And she probably isn't that desperate for his cash either knowing what he did.
