>>21473258Basically it was a sci-fi cult active during the late 80s-90s IIRC, composed of mostly nerdy outcasts of society. Was mostly harmless dorks and new age in nature, but with their leader's declining health, it then turned somewhat apocalyptic where they had to board the Hale Bopp Comet and leave their "earthly vehicles" behind.
That basically led to group suicide where everyone basically went willingly. I think only three members are still alive, one of who runs the site and is said to answer emails. The other worked as a basic retail worker. The last one I think wrote a book about the whole thing.
