Think about it: it's currently sitting any 606M views and, back then, it ended up creating a massive amount of media around that MV: vocaloid version, cosplays, covers, you name it.
And the dance was absurdly popular for odorites because it merged two things
1) an easy to copy choreo
2) a GROUP dance
Again, I didn't even know these were supposed to be from a video game back then, it outshined even League of Legends and exposed it to a HUGE audience that was not even familiar with the game.
I say the idea in the interview is that Hololive could have that moment and my only disagreement is that being in an OP/ED in an anime would be a much easier avenue than being in what was suggested
