Might be because their entire language is made up by 100 syllables in total and they always enunciate their As, Os and Es. English is... a bit more complicated than that.
So yeah, if that's her decision, then it does counteract her lyrical focus quite a bit. You do have to wonder though how much of that decision is actually on her and how much of it is on the mixers and producers.
