For microphones, I recomend standard Stage/Kareoke mics because Dynamics give you that "on stage" sound profile. They pick up a lot less background noise. They're better in live environments.
Thing is, your Shure MV7 is probably as good, if not better than the setup I recommend due to the sheer price and quality you had to invest in that, even in the USB package.
