ANYCOLOR PAINTED RED
Anycolor stocks end the week back in the red as the stock closes out at 2799 yen (-29) for their final price this week. Their performance was relatively stable, as they fluctuated in the low 2800s to high 2700s throughout the day. The only other thing to note is that curiously enough is that on YahooJP, Anycolor's poll is currently at 100% wanting to buy. Although do note that it's likely just a relatively small group of traders involved in the stock.
ANYCOLOR WEEK IN REVIEW
Anycolor notches a 4th week in the red as this week tallies up to a 37 yen loss, with only one day where they were in the green. This week initially saw them continue their extensive losing streak (albeit has slowed down this week) that would get snapped on Thursday even if it didn't put them back in the green. Regardless, Anycolor remained stuck in their losing streak despite Thursday's attempt to do so.
Anycolor has now lost roughly 18% of their value since Cover's Q3 report, 20% since their peak of 3535 Yen on February 10th. However, Anycolor has a chance to make a attempt at a recovery as their Q3 report will be happening next week on March 12th (or the 11th if you live in the West coast.). This will go over what they did from November last year to the end of January this year. Their target for Q3 is roughly 9.5 to 10 Billion yen in revenue, with roughly 2.4-2.6 Billion Yen in net profit. I haven't had the time to do a thorough look through what they have done in this time frame, but considering that they did have this similar result in the last report it's fairly possible to see a repeat performance with events like the Niji music festival in December and deferred revenue from delayed shipping hitting.
As for initial expectations, I think they'll match revenue or at best barely be above expectations. NijiJP will continue to be a growing bubble for the isolated company, NijiEN may continue to see a growth in revenue thanks to the aforementioned deferred payments but I wouldn't hold my breath. We'll see what happens.
COVER FLUNKS
Cover as expected ends the final day in the red as the stock plummets to to 2674 yen (-97) for the final price this week. They're performance was relatively better than I expected, as after stabilizing in the low 2600s for most of the day the stock would see decent growth in the last hour to get them out of the triple digits. This can easily be attributed to the graduation of Shion Murasaki that happened the day before (in Japan time.)
COVER WEEK IN REVIEW
Cover's week despite the graduation still ended well, seeing a 54 yen gain for the week. They went 3 for 5 on gains, and considering that the Shion graduation was out of nowhere it could be argued they were still on their steady upward trajectory. Cover's next week should be eventful as this weekend is HoloFes occurs as well as Anycolor's very own Q3 report. Overall I somewhat expect it to be positive but Anycolor's Q3 report will be the X factor that may decide where they go from here.
OTHER
The NIKKEI takes another hit as it's gutted by a 2.17% loss for this week, a 0.72% loss overall from last Friday.
The gap between the two is now 125 yen in Anycolor's favor.
