Idols are pretty as long as they are teens, this is why they GRADUATE when they become 20-22 years old. It is customary for their company to give them a send off that sounds better than "the new girls' pussies are thighter than yours, go make JAV" so they call it "graduation" masking it as something that was going to happen and that they are now "better".
