The markets are saturated and vtubers in themselves are no longer that novel, so new vtubers have to stand out by being talented and entertaining enough that people want to watch them over existing vtubers. And even if these small corpos get lucky and cultivate a talent that sustainably gets thousands of viewers, that vtuber can just pull a Pikamee and reappear in a company like Vshojo where they actually own their IP.
