i was gonna lament about how bad we are at gatekeeping and then i realized we're actually pretty good at it and we just rarely do it. at least we're not like /pxl/ where they try, but feel the need to spoonfeed their native posters, and said posters are so stupid that literally any tourist could follow the instructions once they're dumbed down enough to not leave anyone behind. and our resident dimwit that directly links alts out of spite is inactive, so there's a pretty good chance we could actually keep a secret. i'm really glad we don't have any secrets left to keep, because it makes threads like /v4m/ and (though it seems to be loosening up now) /vnug/ into unreadable hostile-feeling places for anyone that just has a passing interest and wasn't around months ago for the discovery period
