I don't know why I didn't go with the ASUS board in the first place but thought MSI was better for some reason. I re-seated everything multiple times and the DRAM and CPU lights kept coming on, even tried to re-flash the BIOS. I don't know if it didn't like the RAM or if the board is just dead.
