I already started a bit of it before when I got a bit stuck in the Crystal campaign of FFMP before moving on to Gilgamesh' story. So now I'll continue it.
It kinda follows the storyline of DQV and basically has the same MC who gets enslaved and does hard labor for 10 years as a child before escaping after growing up. Like all the games in the series, it features characters from other Dragon Quest games, but it plays more like Dragon Quest Monsters where you tame monsters and breed them to get stronger ones.
