>>79516623nta but MHA from what I heard ran into a lot of issues. It had the winning formula for a great shonen but kinda botched things a little hard in a couple places that it really should have learned how not to do from surrounding works
>make an MC that is generally unlikable compared to the supporting cast, but the point is supposed to be that he is clawing his way up and meant to be a good underdog story>take away a lot of the underdog rallying by making the MC incomprehensibly stupid it's meant to be a major breakthrough for him that he just figured out he can kick with the powers that course through his entire body>supporting cast just continues to be more interesting, but don't give them enough spotlight>undermind the initial talentlessness of the MC later by giving him something better that he had all along >never capitalize on the MC's hero autism and make that how he overcomes foes he shouldn't be able to>story itself just becomes a messI think if you just want to see some neat powers get showcased every once in a while, Watame should have a good time reading it, but as a book overall it's not that great. Maybe it works better as a long binge from start to finish, that way you can just get through it and then never have to think about it again.
