Alright, serious question here. None of you people are actually still buying PC games for the full $70, if you buy them at all, right? I see PC girls talking about games being that much all the time, and it makes me wonder if they, and you, know how to get games cheaper without pirating.

You don't have to buy games off of grey market sites like Kinguin or something, not if you don't want to. There are plenty of legitimate third party game retailers that you never have to buy things at full price from Steam. These aren't stolen keys when you buy from places like Green Man Gaming and Fanatical. They're all real keys. Your account is not in danger buying from these guys. There's no risk.
The Panko tweet about Silent Hill 2 being $70 made me think of this. You don't have to buy games at full price.
