You will never experience true loss and grief like those who had their oshis graduate/terminated, whether for better or worse. Soon enough, it will come for you one day... the only question that lies is: do you even have an oshi to hold up high, to stay devoted to? To feel proud of supporting and excited to see in the next stream? You haven't walked the gauntlet. You don't know what it means to have those emotional ties severed because of things possibly out of your control. Those who've lost their oshis are in deeper emotional pain, thus more in tune with their deeper emotions. We look at the rest of /vt/, at the rest of the vtuber-sphere, and we're still emotionally healing. Some of us have fully healed, being more stronger and resilient than ever before. But we're still covered in invisible scars, and we're hesitant, scared of finding that true love for another vtuber again... because we fear the inevitable. We fear what awaits not just for us, but for the oblivious who don't see it coming. I pray for you all. Someday you will know that pain. You'll come out on the other side, but just know that it won't be easy. t. A vtuber widow
