It's just theory crafting but concidering Korone is pretty popular at the EN fanbase and higher-ups potentially realized that that Korone might risk taking "X" amount of viewers from Mori's 3D and lose out on a ton of Merch shilling (plus the Blue ray and other Mori music related stuff) it wouldn't surprise me if they quickly called Korone's manager and asked her to put a stop to her stream (at least for an hour)
I think it was the right call to do that to avoid some potential awkwardness that could have developed between JP and EN, since a lot of fans live with the illusion that everyone in Holo somehow knows and likes eachother (the ones that don't dig deeper) and Korone streaming during Mori's 3D would have raised some eyebrows in that illusion some people believe in. But that's just my theory on it.
