>>88275597there are tons and tons of different resources to learn from so there's no absolute "correct" way to draw. some people will find certain methods easier and better.
fun with a pencil by andrew loomis is recommended a lot but it doesn't work for some people. draw-a-box too is brought up a lot and it also won't work for some people. i'm of the mind grinding stuff like that can be crushing to your mental but some people find it really works for them and helps (pikat on youtube is a good example)
as mentioned before, you can find a lot of useful resources on /ic/. i would severely recommend refraining to get critique from there or staying there for any long periods of time
recent resources i've found that are useful:
>pikat youtube (mentioned earlier. she's nice and has some interesting art videos that can help as well as some art discussions)>chommang youtube (mostly focuses on drawing heads/faces but has a lot of different tutorials for stuff. also has a membership you can join for a more detailed course that i've been trying to follow)>lines sensei youtube (various tutorials. went along with his body construction stuff and it was good but i kinda fell off following his stuff trying to do the head tutorial but it might work better for you)i have a playlist on youtube i've just been adding any interesting art stuff to... a lot of which is unwatched but i'll make sure to come to them at some point so you could do the same
some other various resources gathered:
https://hackmd.io/7k0XRnIQR6SValR77TDfZw?viewi don't feel like i'm the best person to give advice about this stuff since my drawing skills are still lacking and i don't put as much time into it as i feel i should
