Automatics usually cap out at around 30 rounds with oversized magazines that stick out 6" out of the grip of the gun. They also function completely differently depending on if the automatic is striker fired, and you should remember that revolvers don't dispense shells until you manually eject them in case you don't want to leave evidence behind.
