I just love campy shit and once the Freedom shows up it goes all in on making Kira and his friends seem absolutely perfect while also making everyone else comically evil so you don't need to feel bad when the Freedom and Justice Gundams mow through a whole Dynasty Warriors level worth of grunt suits. There's very little substance to it at this point but it's fun.
