You can still game the 1st stat like how Prince or Brockhampton did it.
1. Prince gave a copy of his new album to every concert attendant - ticket bundles count as album sales if it's above the min cost of an album - 15$ I think. A lot of artists do it today.
2. Brockhampton had a copy of their new album packaged with every merch store purchase - like you could buy he "40$" T-shirt (that was actually 25$) and you'd get a copy of the album.
Iridescence hit No 1 on Billboard for the 1 week their merch sales were counted. The store sold out in minutes.
