If you're a fat blob that normally drinks 2 litres of coca cola a day but now switched to coca cola zero instead,
then you've just cut 840 calories out of your daily diet.
Just because your diet is unhealthy doesn't mean you can't lose weight on it.
On average you lose weight if you consume less calories than your TDEE and obviously gain weight if you go above your TDEE.
