For youtube I've used yt-dlp, however that one requires you to use command line/cmd to use it.
Avidemux is also a decent tool for cropping.
If you want to record streams while theyre live then Streamlink is a decent option too.
As for video editing for effects and finishing I can't say. I don't know what tools are out there nowadays
