i dont know why my cursor isnt showing when recording but the idea is that each card, the rectangle, is supposed to show the image. i used a number for this shitty demo, 999 means unknown. holding rightclick "uses/plays" it, and simply clicking it pops up the description of the card. also anything that has to do with matchmaking, taking turns, making sure shit works properly like data persisting correctly between refreshes, making sure only you can see your hand, etc etc all that boring shit, all that's dealt with (at least i think so).
anyway, i stopped here instead of continuing with the shit you wrote in the pdf because it's a fork in the road so to speak w/ regards to what i need to write mechanics + design-wise. i realized that the hardest part of making this game would be coming up with many different cards with different effects and shit so it's pointless to continue if youre not up for it. it's fine though, like i said i will still be able to use this shit anyway. plus part of the reason it took so long is because i decided to use libraries that ive never used before to pad my resume just to make sure i get something out of this endeavour no matter what happens, so no worries.
