Anyway, I agree it's abnormal, I just don't think it's satisfactorily explained by Twitch vs. Youtube CCV measurements. For one thing, it's not a even a Twitch issue, it's specifically a Mouse issue. I've attached a random snippet from a Henya stream that was at 6-7k at the time: the entire chat window is flooded with messages in under 3 seconds. It's obviously blowing both of the streams being compared here out of the water.
I'm open to speculating about why that might be, but it's not simply how Twitch counts CCV. I'm also very skeptical it's entirely, or even mostly, because Mouse viewership is manipulated, because Mouse has demonstrated popularity in other numerical and non-numerical ways, like being able to raise shitloads of money and getting top-tier or even winning votes for several write-in awards. There are other factors at work.
