If /wvt/ stopped caring about Nina, is simply because the dream is no longer alive there, but it is still alive here, of all places, if only judging for the Nina shills.
Some people in /wvt/ just wanted a chuuba gf, and they remained there. They wanted their chuubas to stay "small" and "cozy" so they have no competition. They most likely became male vtubers so they could ask for "collabs". Others wanted their oshi to succeed, and they came here to shill her.
