>>7111769idk about DS1, but DS2 scared the shit out of me at some points with the atmosphere and sounds. I remember one part where you're stuck in complete darkness and enemies appear from random areas, making noise all over the place, while you're standing still in a corner wishing for the best with your poor flashlight.
The only scary thing about RE7 is the fucking family that gets teleported next to you. I got tired of all the times I would check to make sure the fucking old lady was far away, check the corners and all of a sudden she was next to me right on the corner I had checked, and that happen with every family member. The only area that was good was the basement, Only there you have a dark area with some effort in the atmosphere. Sadly, RE7 is full of cheap jumpscares.
Another really good game in terms of atmosphere and balance of spooky areas and action is Metro 2033.I'm convinced Ame would love it. I think Metro Last Light is the game that scared me the most since I have arachnophobia.
