I know there are grabbers for the 3DS and the New 3DS is capable of streaming the video to a computer. The same goes for the Switch. I tried it, it generally works, but it's not perfect and sometimes stutters etc. Dolphin and Citra in combination with Bluetooth controllers make everything easier and you have a cleaner battlestation with less wires.
