Don't think I ever remembered to post this here, but when I was playing around with NAI for a bit I tried out the inpaint trick with Serina Maiko. I don't think it would really work for augmenting a lora dataset but it's fun to play with.
I wonder if Illustrious could do it, though I suspect NAI's skill at it is from them training an inpainting model which as far as I know no local baker has bothered with.
