Ideas can be realized either within the game itself or really autistically via scripting, and it's to this day one of the VERY few games where you just have a server, up to 50 people and a dream.
Minecraft is what MMOs dreamed to be, the "problem" being the people if you look at huge public servers being cesspits of destruction due to children going wild. Once you filter for community, there's shit like world politics, working computers, all kinds of scripted tabletop etc. playable.
