You will be transitioning to a female-majority audience, which has an unfortunate habit of not donating to female vtubers and mostly supporting them out of "pity", or as shipping adjascents for the guys.
Sure some girls have made it work, but the problem is that they're riding on an audience which isn't loyal to them whatsoever and is really just there to see the guys.
I think any indies joining up have to ask themselves a tough questions "would my loyal audience really enjoy seeing me in flirts and ships with various male vtubers"? If the answer is "no" I think they need to reconsider.
Furthermore there's no real telling how much longer the branch will even last at this rate, it's collapsing so fast, and the reputation is so toxic. Maybe it'll last another year, maybe 2 years, but at the end of it you'll be left with a ruined reputation and no path forward.
