At this point if it's on a day when you're flying back, it's also always one of those things that they can't even count on flights staying on schedule and stuff, so sometimes jobs might have a bit of leeway for that. So not sure if there's a way to just try to make it seem like you will do your best to be there for it, but that you're at the mercy of your flight situation.
