>>35009329I'm still holding off on making any big statements until she streams something her fans are interested in, as that'll be a lot more telling to what's happening with her numbers. However this situation is getting a bit blown out of proportion.
I've explained this before, but horror games are historically hit or miss. The hype surrounding a horror game often stems from the fandom, not from the streamer. So I will give you 2 examples of this;
There's a horror visual novel game I know called Death Mark. It's a pretty unique game with an immersive story. Its unique in that horror games don't often let you develop connections with other characters and have them assist you on a mission. I enjoy it, but 99% of people have zero clue what that game is. How does a fanbase get excited about something they don't know?
Likewise, look at something like FNAF. It's become a cult classic, engrained in the minds of millions of people over the past decade. COMPLETELY different starting point and one that'd get people far more interested in tuning in.
That's a large part of why the streams look "weak" compared to say, Chilla games, because Chilla games are mainstays with the JP crowd.
Secondly is the vod views which, while low compared to her typical streams, isn't THAT crazy. Luckily you have me here who can memorize a lot of VODs of hers, but Stanley Parable part 2 had 270k views in 4 hours time. And I consider that game far more engaging, interactive and a overall better viewer experience than Madison part 2, yet the views are pretty comparable. So if it's happened before, then there's no need to concern yourself much YET.
