but yes, if you want something that is struly your own it might be good, but worry about one thing at a time, the first game i ever made had fucking drawf fortress style ascii graphics and even with that you can do so so much, for games on the simpler graphics spectrum look no further than a lot of the flash games that came out in the early era of the internet and how much enjoyment people got out of those, definietly don't need fancy graphics for a game
