>>45678877>>45678877I assume they are fighting with the whole city of Utopia beginning on level ground with each group clumped together at a specified distance from the other. Know that there are still quite a number of unknown variables to me in canon abilities, and the stats on the guild cards are relative and have no transferable values to any real life feats or measurements so bear with me here. Racial abilities are ignored. Biggest issue is that we don't know what magic they can do which is a deciding factor on thier roles in combat as well as their versatility!! I tried thinking up a theoretical scenario for fun:
Beginning at medium-to-long range:
With the R-Trus, VG have a masive advantage. It can fly, essentially covering the user in an armored shell that can kite outside of anyones attack range while firing with the cannon. So far, I don't think anyone in HQ has the accuracy and precision required to shoot it out of the sky. Magni might come in clutch depending on what sort of explosives he can synthesize to be thrown by Axel (max DEX accuracy and chain as a sling) but that's unclear. I don't know how much smoke bombs, health and buff potions HQ has to tank the continuous bombing till the R-trus runs out of fuel. The Guild Superweapon.
Exacerbating this would be who is Shinri is a tanky mid-range archer who can evade well thanks to maximum DEX. He's strong all around and would put massive pressure on HQ to avoid headshots while being bombed or assaulted from the front. Hakka's magic abilities are unclear, but his low HP makes him weak to ranged moves at this distance like Altare's gunfire or others including magic, toxins and explosives. His Phys oriented stats would imply a less active role with ranged bombing unless he can use that MP, so he'd only go melee, alongside Bettel who sucks, when HQ approaches.
In close combat:
VG is at a massive disadvantage.
Axel is a GOD. Max STR, DEX and HP altogether imply that the force of his attacks and durability are equal to the R-Trus itself and can outspeed anyone but Shinri in sheer speed and agility. Chains allow binding of nearby opponents to handle the R-Trus if needed. Close proximity essentially negates the use of the R-Trus cannon and flight provides no real advantage. It's physical attacks risk damaging allies due to its sheer size forcing Flayon with his mid stats to fight himself or force distance. If R-Trus engages anyway, Axel can still apply pressure with his superior Phys stats. It is much harder for Shinri to land a shot without risking friendly fire and displays no specified expertise in CQC. Bettel, with all his terrible stats is always at a disadvantage. It is unknown if Phantom is powerful and can make up for it. This leaves Hakka, a low HP glass cannon, an unarmed archer Shinri and Bettel against Sowrdsman Altare, Spellblade Nowa and potentially Magni to buff them up.
Fun fact: Flayon's natural stats without the R-Trus makes hijm as strong as Vesper, and stronger than Magni and Bettel.
