There's probably a billion tutorials out there, here's just some random simple example pic you can drop into PNG info if you want to see the general concept. The newer models tend to be pretty good about character separation so you won't need it just for that, but if you want to give specific clothes / actions / expressions to specific characters it's still quite useful
