Notes:
We are now past the first quarter for this year and we have a decent idea of who the current big players are and the ways they are trending. Shylily has stayed very consistent with her current viewers, shotou's channel continues to do it's best "Kobe Bryant in a helicopter" impression, and Neuro Sama has been charging like a rhino. We had way more viewership gains this month than losses, and most of those who lost viewers are coming back down to earth from New model/redebut buffs. Interestingly, despite her not streaming all that much this month and the wailing and gnashing of teeth about her losing viewers, Saruei is more or less at her average viewership. She's only down 1% viewership this month and for this year she is only down 4%, so not a significant amount at all. This makes it reasonable to believe that once she finally gets out of her own head and the redebut happens, she'll likely have some big gains and be back on track to where she was mid last year.
The most notable gains came from the whoreclan (Bao, Vienna, Tricky, Yuzu) with most of them being up 20-35%. A lot of that is a testament to how people do care to watch them when they are actually streaming. We also have seen big huge gains from both Shondo and girl_dm_, both of whom have been hovering around that 1k area but got big bumps in viewership thanks to new model debut (shondo) and decently done subathon (girl_dm_). Shondo will be one to watch because she's been making some really consistent gains in viewership and if it keeps up she could become a mainstay in the top 25.
For non top 25 chuubas, we now know for sure tob is a 1k vtuber. She's now at a 3 month average of 1,173 CCV, which marks a 28% Viewership jump from the end of last year. In the smaller chuuba brackets, Coqui is officially at a 500+ CCV for the last 3 months, at a 521 CCV average and a 36% viewership gain since the start of the year. Not to be outdone, her good friends Meat is at a 431 CCV average for the first 3 months of the year (a 34% viewership gain so far this year), and Olivia is at 464 CCV (23% Viewership Gain). When you also add in MariMari (584 CCV), HinaBoBina (418 CCV), and Moriko (438 CCV) all on the upswing with positive viewership gains since the beginning of the year, it's clear that the traditional "mig" vtubers are where a lot of the most noticeable movement is at and they are really coming into their own as a group. It's very lovely to see.
I'm going to hold off on talking about some of the partner call ups until the future, but I do have my eye on what's going on with them and will likely bring them up in future updates. That's all I have for you this month, you all stay good.
